Situated halfway between the picturesque and famous artists‘ village of Frigiliana and the well-known coastal town of Torrox (Costa del Sol), our Cortijo offers a special opportunity for individual holidays in Andalusia.

Casita Kidogo is ideal for single travellers or couples who appreciate a personal living environment and yet don’t want to spend their holidays too far „off the beaten track“ or for a longer period of time.

You may have already read it elsewhere on my website: I have a great love for Africa, where I have spent more than 20 years, mainly in Kenya. Even though I have been living in Andalusia since 1999, my own home, which is located just above the guest house on the beautifully overgrown grounds with old olive trees, palm trees and flowering plants, is a reminiscence of this wonderful time.

The Casita Kidogo, your own realm when you are on holiday with me, combines these two worlds: A small, charming and absolutely self-sufficient guest house (casita) with a little (kidogo) African flair, which is mainly spread by the original Tinga Tinga pictures.

The casita has its own small terrace with a direct view of the Mediterranean as well as a wonderful sheltered and cosy seating area under one of the many olive trees.

Cook for yourself or let yourself be pampered

Of course, you can also move freely around the Cortijo and use the pool above the guest house for a refreshing dip.

Even though the casita has a small, fully equipped kitchen, I will be happy to prepare a breakfast of your choice or an evening meal on request.

The cortijo is located around 50 km east of Malaga in one of the typical valleys  of the Parque Natural de las Sierras de Tejeda, Alhama y Almijara.
